Our
Story

We are Mia and Jo: two friends who very much find themselves scattered among their different creative projects. So we decided to come up with a digital planner for creative brains, to help other scattered people like us.

When a photographer and a video editor come together, this is what happens!

A digital creative planner: one you can bring everywhere and anywhere with you (and you can print it too!)

So, how come two 90s kids who aren’t from the same city, never attended the same high school or even the same college turn out to be friends?

The answer would be: work.

We easily become friends, mostly due to our common nerdy/bookworm side.

Mia

Hello my creative friends!!

My name is Mia, and I am a photographer, editor and graphic designer.

I’ve been fascinated with agendas and organizers since I can remember, always carrying around at least one planner and one notebook for ideas, sketches, and writing.

As a freelancer, I found it hard to get my hands on a planner that could help me keep track of my projects so that I could deliver stuff on time, and without losing any files in the process.

After a few years, I started to play around with bullet journals, agendas and digital apps, always finding that each type of planner was great at something, but not at everything…

It was at this point that Jo and I started talking about these struggles, and what if we could come up with a specific planner, made by creatives, for creatives?

Scattered Brain Planners was our way of answering that question, and I truly hope it will help you as much as it has helped us.

Keep creating,

Mia Montoito

Jo

Hey guys!

I’m Jo, and I am a video editor, graphic designer, social media manager who loves to photograph concerts.

I love everything stationary related - from notebooks to brush pens and washi tapes - and I am someone you can find wandering lost at the bookstore (even though she has a bunch of books waiting to be read at home).

At work, it’s easy to get myself lost among all the different projects and the different brands. With all the different deadlines, brand specifics and languages, sometimes I can’t even find myself. In the middle of this, Mia and I started talking about a method which could help us  with our scattered brains.

And that’s how Scattered Brains was born.

With love,
Jo
